In this pair of works, I explore the intimacy of the relationship between father and son. Through abstract forms and layered textures, I portray a moment of walking together – a conversation that shapes life and passes on experience.
Both works were created in mixed media, dimensions 35×50 cm. Dominant colors – earthy tones, black, and white – create a contrast between inner reflection and the outer environment.
Both paintings depict the figures of father and son walking, while the father, through conversation, gently introduces his young son to life.
The inspiration came from everyday scenes in Osijek, where walks along the Drava River often become spaces for connection. These works are not literal depictions, but emotional maps of relationships – where texture itself becomes the language of closeness.
